New Product Return & Refund Policy

On behalf of Hoover Ferguson we would like to thank you for your recent purchase.  In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with one of our products, please refer to the following information which outlines our Hoover Ferguson Return Policy.

To obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number, please contact our Customer Service Team at 800-844-8683 or by email at customerservice@hooverferguson.com

Please include the following:

  1. Your Name
  2. Phone Number
  3. Email Address
  4. Company Name
  5. Original Order Number or Invoice Number
  6. Part Number(s)
  7. Quantity
  8. Reason for return

 The RGA number provided must be included on all return shipments and must be marked on all packages.

 RGA’s expire after 90 days of issuance so please return promptly.

Items returned without proper authorization will, at the sole option of Hoover Ferguson, be refused or returned to the customer freight collect, or scrapped immediately with no issuance of credit.  Unauthorized merchandise included in a return will not be credited.

Non Defective Return Guidelines

 If you need to Return Item(s)

  1. You have 90 calendar days to return an item(s) from the date you received it.
  2. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  3. Returns with no exchange will be charged a restocking fee. 
  4. Item(s) returned will be at customer’s expense and will not be reimbursed.
  5. Once you have shipped the return items back to Hoover Ferguson please email Customer Service the RGA number & tracking information.
  6. A refund will be issued for the Return once received and inspected.

If you need to Exchange Item(s)

  1. You have 90 calendar days to return an item(s) from the date you received it.
  2. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  3. Enter your replacement order online or call Customer Service to request the return and replacement order.  If you purchase a replacement, the restocking fee will be waived for all Standard items.  Non-Standard items are subject to restocking fee.
  4. Item(s) returned will be at customer’s expense and will not be reimbursed.
  5. Once you have shipped the return items back to Hoover Ferguson please email Customer Service the RGA number & tracking information. 
  6. Credit will be issued for the Return once received and inspected.

If you receive the wrong item(s)

If the return is necessary through any fault of Hoover Ferguson, and authorization is granted for the return, Hoover Ferguson will provide full credit, including all outbound and inbound shipping charges if returned per the instructions supplied with the RGA. 

  1. You have 90 calendar days to return an item(s) from the date you received it.
  2. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  3. Once you have shipped the return items back to Hoover Ferguson please email Customer Service the RGA number & tracking information. 
  4. Products will be inspected upon return and any service or repair needed to place them back in saleable condition will be deducted from the credit due.
  5. Credit will be issued for the Return once received and inspected.
  6. Replacement order will be handled by Hoover Ferguson and shipped at no cost to you.

 Defective Return Guidelines

  1. Must be requested within 30 days from discover of the defect or failure.
  2. A Customer Incident Report will need to be completed by Customer Service.
  3. Returns due to quality issues will not be charged a restocking fee and a replacement order will be handled by Hoover Ferguson and shipped at no cost to you.
  4. Once you have shipped the return items back to Hoover Ferguson please email Customer Service the RGA number & tracking information. 
  5. If, upon inspection, the returned product is determined to be defective, Hoover Ferguson will provide full credit, including shipping charges of replacement product if returned per the instructions listed on the RGA.

 Refund

Once your item(s) are received back at Hoover Ferguson, our Quality Department will review and inspect per the above conditions.  Once approved, if a credit is due Hoover Ferguson will process accordingly and deduct any shipping costs or restocking fee(s) that may apply.

We will initiate a credit towards your original method of payment.  If you have credit terms with Hoover Ferguson the credit will be applied to the original invoice for the items returned.  If this invoice is no longer open then the credit will remain open on your account pending authorization by you to either apply to another open invoice or you may request a check be issued for the credit.  If you want Hoover Ferguson to issue you a check please let our Customer Service team know so we may communicate accordingly with our Finance Team.
